Francis D. Parisi, Esq. is the principal of Parisi Law Associates, P.C., a real estate and business law firm located in Providence, Rhode Island.
Fran has assisted a wide variety of residential and commercial real estate owners, developers, management companies and investors, and has been involved in all phases of real estate development. He has represented many different mortgage lenders and brokers, and has successfully closed on the purchase, financing and/or refinancing of hundreds of residential, multi-family and commercial properties throughout New England. Fran has also represented landowners and developers before the zoning and planning boards of many cities and towns throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island, including Cape Cod and the Islands. Fran is an agent for Catic Title Insurance Company and also serves as a Qualified Intermediary to real estate investors conducting Like-Kind Exchanges under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code.
In addition, Fran provides legal services to many small and medium-sized businesses and investors. He has drafted and negotiated a wide range of corporate and business related documentation, including formation, acquisition, sale, financing, licensing, employment, franchise and non-competition agreements; and has counseled management on corporate, tax, contract, labor, antitrust, risk management and litigation issues.
Fran has written and lectured extensively on a variety of real estate and corporate law issues. He is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Fran is a graduate of the University of Illinois (BA with honors) and Boston College Law School (JD Magna Cum Laude).
